Jaguars Place Five on Coast Conference All-Conference Teams
San José City College softball earns five postseason honors, led by DJ Martinez's .449 batting average and First Team All-Conference and All-Northern Team recognition.
SAN JOSÉ — San José City College softball closed its 2026 season with five players earning Coast Conference postseason honors, capping a year marked by standout individual performances across the lineup.
Catcher DJ Martinez headlined the group, earning First Team All-Conference and All-Northern Team recognition after one of the most productive offensive seasons in the Jaguar program. The sophomore from San José batted .449 with five home runs, 37 RBI, and 26 runs scored in 33 games. Her .526 on-base percentage and .755 slugging percentage ranked among the conference's best at any position.
Second baseman Belle Walker also earned First Team All-Conference honors. The Cupertino native batted .352 with five home runs, 29 RBI, and 20 runs scored across 37 games. Walker slashed .538/.578/.897 in conference play, providing consistent production at the top of the order all season.
Third baseman/second baseman Jaelynn Corona was named to the Second Team All-Conference after batting .336 with 17 RBI, 30 runs scored, and nine stolen bases in 37 games. The Gilroy native recorded 38 hits on the season and drew 12 walks, finishing with a .405 on-base percentage.
Outfielder Arianna Vergara earned her Second Team selection after batting .278 with 29 runs scored and a .418 on-base percentage in 37 games. The San José native reached base at a .385 clip in conference play and added 22 walks on the season.
Shortstop Chevelle Quistian received an Honorable Mention after batting .266 with three home runs, 14 RBI, and 19 runs scored. The freshman from Gilroy posted a .350 batting average and .625 slugging percentage in conference play.
